I'm always asked where I get the names of my instruments from. Quite simply: it's just intention. Sounds silly, but that's how it is. If I hold an instrument in my hands and we get a connection, then I hear the name. Finding out the meaning or origin - that's always exciting and revealing.

The name is derived from Hannah and means "the gifted", "the lovable" and "the beautiful by God's grace". Annabelle is of Hebrew origin.
